This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you. It applies to information collected through weightlossfull.com (the “Site”) — including our newsletter, contact form, comments, and any account or signup interactions.
We respect your right to access, correct, and erase your personal data under applicable laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act 2018, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), and equivalent regional privacy frameworks.
1. What personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may collect:
- Newsletter signups — your email address and the date you subscribed.
- Contact form submissions — your name, email address, subject, and the message you send us.
- Comment data — your display name, email address, website URL (optional), IP address, and browser user agent, stored alongside any comment you leave.
- Cookies and similar technologies — functional cookies (login, preferences), analytics cookies, and advertising cookies set by Google AdSense for ad personalization.
- Server logs — IP address, request URL, browser type, and referrer, retained for security and diagnostics for up to 30 days.
2. How to request deletion
Send a deletion request to contact@weightlossfull.com from the email address associated with your data, with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
To help us locate your records, please include any of the following that apply:
- The email address you used to subscribe to our newsletter or to leave a comment.
- The display name or username associated with your interactions.
- Approximate dates of the interactions (for example, “commented in March 2026” or “subscribed in early 2025”).
- Any specific content you want removed (comment text, message body, etc.).
If you are submitting the request on behalf of someone else (for example, as a parent or legal guardian), please state your relationship and authority to act on their behalf.
3. What happens after you submit a request
- Confirmation. We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days of receipt.
- Identity verification. Where reasonable, we may ask you to confirm your identity to prevent unauthorized deletion of another person’s data.
- Action. We will erase the personal data you identified from our active systems within 30 days of verification, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (see Section 5).
- Confirmation of completion. We will send you a final email confirming what was deleted and, if applicable, what was retained and why.
4. Where the data is erased from
Deletion covers data stored in:
- Our WordPress database — covering subscriber lists, comments, and contact form entries.
- Our email service provider’s subscriber list.
- Backups and analytics stores — erased on the next scheduled backup rotation (typically within 90 days).
5. What we may retain
Even after a deletion request, we may retain some information where required or permitted by law, including:
- Records needed to comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data (for example, “152 visitors read this article last month”).
- Records needed to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, or respond to legal requests.
Where data is retained for one of these reasons, it is stored separately and not used for any other purpose.
6. Third-party services
If you interacted with us through a third party (for example, signing in with Facebook, Google, or another service), that provider also holds its own copy of certain data. To delete that data you must contact the provider directly. We can help you find the right request form if you email us.
7. Cookies and advertising
To opt out of personalized advertising from Google AdSense, visit Google Ads Settings or use the DAA opt-out tool. To clear cookies set by this Site, use your browser’s privacy controls. See our Cookies Policy for details.
