Chicken Pastries Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp Fried butter
  • 1 prize Cayenne pepper
  • 1 Pc egg
  • 250 G Cake batter
  • 0.5 Can Corn
  • 0.5 Pc Hot peppers, red
  • 1 prize pepper
  • 200 G Chicken strips
  • 1 prize salt
  • 200 G chunky tomatoes
  • 0.5 Pc onion

Method:

1. The first step to prepare these chicken pastries is to peel the fresh onion and then chop it finely. Then you just have to wash the peppers and then cut them half and core, and dice them.

2. Now you have to fry the chicken strips in a pan with some cubes of butter for a few minutes until the chicken strips get golden brown on all sides. Then you just have to onion and pepper cubes in it and fry it for some minutes more.

3. Then you just have to add the tomatoes to it as well as the corn. Sprinkle the whole thing with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper before you allow filling to cool down.

4. Here you have to roll out the dough and cut out 15 cm circles from it. Put 1 tablespoon of filling in each of the dough circles and then brush its edges with a little water, fold the circles over and then press their edges with the help of a fork.

5. Now you have to put the chicken pastries on the baking tray lined with baking paper and then put the tray in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before you brush the dough with the whisked egg.

6. After brushing the dough circles with egg, you just have to bake them in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes until they get golden brown. After that, you will be able to serve your delicious dish.
