Savory Pastries Recipe

These savory pastries can be served as a starter with a full meal and it can be treated as a light starter and it can be easily baked as well with the help of this simple recipe. Ingredients:

  • 1 Pc egg
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 Msp turmeric
  • 750 G Flour
  • 1 TL salt
  • 400 ml Water, cold
  • 130 G Apricots, dried
  • 2 TL Curry powder
  • 500 G Minced meat, mixed
  • 80 G Almonds, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 Federation parsley
  • 1 prize pepper
  • 1 prize salt
  • 1 Pc onion

Method:

1. The first step to prepare this delicious dish is too, peel the onion and finely chop it. Dice the apricots into small pieces. Then just wash the parsley neatly and shake it to dry it and then chop it finely.

2. Here you have to fry the minced meat in the pan with a little amount of oil for few minutes until the minced meat gets crumbly. Then you just have to add the onion cubes in it and cook it for about 5 minutes more. Sprinkle the whole thing with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Pour down 100ml of water in the pan and keep it on low heat until the liquid is drained. Then just fold in the chopped almond, apricots, and parsley. Let it cool down a little then.

3. In the meantime, you can prepare the batter. The first thing that you have to do is to mix the flour with turmeric and salt. Then you have to add 400ml of water, with vinegar and 1 egg. Then you have to knead everything briefly to form a smooth dough out of it. Now you can cover the bowl with the kitchen towel or any plastic sheet and then leave it for about 30 minutes at room temperature for rest.

4. Now you can flour the surface and roll out the dough on it and cut out 15 circles with a diameter of 15 cm from it. Then brush the edges of each circle with the whisked egg.

5. Put 1 tablespoon of minced meat mixture in the center of each dough circle, fold them over, and then press their edges together with the help of a fork. Then you are ready to place the pastries on the baking tray lined with baking paper and then brush the whole dough circle with an egg from outside.

6. Send the baking tray in the oven and bake the pastries at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes until they get golden brown color. After that, you are ready to serve your starter, and make sure you serve it with a dip or ketchup.
